This charming German bisque character doll was produced by J.D. Kestner in the 1890s and stands approximately 12½ inches tall. Marked "Made in Germany A5 143," she features large brown sleep eyes, an expressive childlike face, and dark brown curls beneath a pink bonnet. She wears a pink dress with an ornate lace pinafore, white stockings, and cream-colored ribbon-tie shoes that complement her Victorian-era appearance.

Condition is excellent overall. Family notes indicate a manufacturing flaw consisting of a hair or scrap embedded in the bisque during production, reportedly accompanied by a visible fingerprint. A replacement component is also noted in family records. Acquired through eBay in 2012.
