DOLL #27 - Belton-type

This charming 12-inch German bisque doll is identified as a Belton-type closed-mouth doll dating to the 1880s. She features striking blue glass eyes, a closed-mouth expression, and a blonde wig accented with floral trim. Her sage-green printed dress, styled with lace and decorative braid, reflects the elegant fashions popular during the late Victorian era.

Condition is noted as good overall, with the family inventory recording a missing right thumb. Despite this flaw, she presents beautifully and retains excellent display appeal. Acquired through eBay in 2010 for $400.
