This attractive German bisque doll was manufactured by J.D. Kestner around 1895 and stands approximately 12 inches tall. The head is marked DEP 154, a mold associated with Kestner's characteristically sweet-faced dolls of the late Victorian period.

She has bright blue sleep eyes, delicately painted facial features, and an open mouth with visible teeth. Her pink dress is trimmed with lace at the waist and hem, creating a cheerful and elegant presentation. A large ribbon accents her blonde curls, giving her a distinctly youthful appearance.

The doll is dressed in a later pink costume that complements her complexion and expressive face. White stockings and dark shoes complete the outfit.

Condition: Excellent overall condition. There is a small imperfection to the left middle finger. The blonde mohair wig is noted as a replacement. Sleep eyes function properly.
