DOLL #37 - possible Simon & Halbig

Antique German bisque doll, identified in family records as a possible Simon & Halbig example with DEP 3 marking. Measuring approximately 13 inches tall, she is dressed in an attractive wool plaid ensemble featuring deep burgundy velvet accents, a lace-trimmed collar, and a coordinating plaid skirt. Her large brown sleep eyes, softly painted features, pierced ears with earrings, and expressive open mouth create a refined late Victorian to Edwardian appearance.

The doll wears a replacement brown mohair wig styled with long curls and finished with a burgundy ribbon bow. The rich plaid fabric and velvet bodice give her a distinctive, well-dressed presentation that stands out within the collection.

Condition: Good overall condition with some wear to the hands consistent with age. Family records note that the original blonde wig was replaced with the current brown mohair wig. No other significant condition issues noted.

Family Records: Sold on eBay in 2011 for $980. No paperwork accompanies the doll.
