DOLL #10- Tete Jumeau
This 14-inch antique doll, identified as a Tete Jumeau and dating to the early 1900s, features an expressive smiling character face with large brown glass eyes, delicately painted brows, rosy cheeks, and a closed mouth. The doll wears an old-print cream dress with matching white and brown bonnet accented by a ribbon at the neck. The curled wig, layered dress, stockings, and white shoes create an attractive period presentation.
The doll is in good overall condition. Some wear is present on the hands, including tiny chips and areas of missing paint on several fingertips. No replacement clothing or restoration work is recorded. The doll retains strong display appeal with a well-preserved face and costume. Family records indicate it was purchased on eBay in 2011 for $695.
